Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly caused a stir among British holidaymakers on Wednesday when they were spotted at a budget family resort in Mallorca.
When the TV presenting duo, both 48 years old, suddenly appeared in beachwear at the Protur Bonaire Hotel in Cala Bona, the excitement among the guests was rapid.
Dozens of people flocked to the pool to admire the unexpected appearance of a celebrity, many surprised that the multimillionaire couple chose to stay at this relatively affordable resort.
But although it was not a stunt for the program The Saturday Night Takeaway, as some suspected, there soon turned out to be an explanation.
The duo were recording a TV commercial for TUI holidays, a regular customer of Protur Bonaire.

Ant and Dec spent several hours filming at the sprawling holiday resort in the east of the island.
Their arrival caused such a commotion that guests had to be warned that the TV personalities would not have time to have their photos taken individually.
However, Ant and Dec made a point of waving to the families who had gathered around the pool to greet them and they gave high-fives to the children who came to visit.
Holidaymaker Samantha McAdams witnessed the spectacle and told MailOnline: ‘Everyone was really excited to see them. They came from Palma airport to the hotel on a transfer bus.
‘We first saw them around lunchtime. We were sitting by the pool and they came by about 1:30.
‘Soon everyone got wind of it and started waiting outside the apartment to see them. It turned out they were filming an advert for TUI.
‘They waved to everyone at the pool and then went to a private apartment to do some filming.
“Production team members told us they wouldn’t have time to take individual photos with everyone, but when they came out they waved and high-fived all the kids.”

Sam, 39, raved: ‘They were brilliant, just like you see on TV. They spoke to each of the children and they laughed all day.’
The Belfast-based fashion retail manager is on holiday with her banker husband David McAdams, 37, and their two children Cohen, six, and Summer, five.
She continued, “When they came out of the condo, they got in a golf cart and drove around the resort with some of the guests, asking them what they liked about the hotel, what food they liked, and so on.
“They stayed until about 4pm and then they left. They must have been exhausted.”
