Ant and Dec get hysterical while being harassed at the BGT launch

They’re a much-loved presenting duo, so it’s no surprise that Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were mugged at the launch of Britain’s Got Talent on Tuesday.

Hundreds of the show’s superfans lined up to greet the hosts and catch a glimpse of the judges line-up at the iconic London Palladium.

Ant was left in hysterics when a character in a silver puffer jacket and carrying a vaporizer came up for a giant hug while sporting face paints.

And Dec could barely keep the smile off his face as he watched the scenes unfold nearby.

One delighted superfan rocked a satin bomber jacket that had Ant and Dec’s faces emblazoned on the back.

She also wore a dress made from photos of the dynamic duo while having a fun day.

Ant and Dec were among the first to arrive at the launch, along with a slim Simon Cowell, who has looked dramatically different of late.

Amanda Holden also made an appearance and showed off long legs while wearing an oversized suit jacket and heels.

Also expected to arrive are Alesha Dixon and new host Bruno Tonioli, who will be David Walliams’ replacement after he sensationally left the show.

This comes after Alan Carr was heavily tipped to take on the role.

Bruno, who is said to be “delighted” to return to primetime Saturday night television in the UK, will now eclipse the salary of his former Strictly co-stars three times over.

Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel-Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke are believed to earn £250,000 per series on the Strictly judging panel.

It comes after the battle between Bruno, a close friend of Simon’s, and comedian Alan for the role. The show’s judges Alesha and Amanda were told the identity of their new colleague in the last week.

In one incident, caught on the show’s microphones, an older performer engaged in a light-hearted prank with the judges in which he made fun of David.

After the audition, the retiree left and David is said to have described him as a ‘c**t’ three times.
