FromSoftware has a new Old Ring patch that addresses a number of issues Shadow of the Erdtree insects.
Update 1.13.2, which is more of a minor hotfix, is out now and is the second patch released in just over a week, and is intended to once again adjust Spirit Ash Summons.
As the studio explains in the patch notesthe update fixed a bug “where summoned spirits were not properly receiving the attack power and damage negation boost effect of the Revered Spirit’s Ash Blessing” in the Shadow of the Erdtree extension.
The hotfix also fixed a bug that affected the status increase rate in some spirits, which was “different than expected”, including for Banished Knight Engraval, Warhawk, Gravebird, Cleanrot Knight, Blackflame Monk Amon and more.
In the massive update 1.13, released on July 30th, FromSoftware introduced major changes to the majority of the game’s Spirt Ashes, including no longer being able to stagger as easily, while some also received a health and attack power buff.
The patch also changed the default selection that appears when attempting to summon Torrent after it dies, allowing players to revive the Spectral Steed much faster during certain boss fights.
FromSoftware also explained that some players may experience unstable framerates on PC, due to third-party applications running in the background, such as mice.
