Another 36 bank branches will be closed as a result of the latest strike
The four banks are closing a total of 36 branches in the latest blow to the High Street, adding to the number of closures seen in recent years.

The closure will take place in January-September next year. One branch operated by NatWest will also be closed.

Like other lenders that have closed sites, Lloyds said branch visits had fallen as more customers banked online.
However, campaigners claim that elderly and vulnerable account holders – some of whom struggle to access the internet or app-based platforms – are being left out.
Lloyds said the 35 branches earmarked for closure have seen an average 54 per cent drop in occupancy over the past five years.
The company said that all locations had a post office nearby.
Figures compiled by consumer groups What? Show 662 branches were closed last year in the entire industry.
