Annie Lennox’s daughter Lola, 32, stuns in sultry new photo shoot as she releases debut EP Dreamer

It seems that Annie Lennox passed on the gift of music to her children.

The 68-year-old Eurythmics singer’s eldest daughter, Lola, 32, will release her debut EP Dreamer on April 5.

Lola — who shares Annie with ex-husband Israeli filmmaker Uri Fruchtmann, 68 — has already released a new single of the same name, accompanied by a sultry photo shoot.

The single was executive produced by her Grammy Award-winning mother, as well as Braeden Wright. The EP contains five tracks, all written and performed by Lola.

It comes after Kaya Stewart – the daughter of Dave Stewart, who co-founded Eurythmics with Annie in 1980 – also showed her musical range, auditioning for American Idol with her father last week.

The British singer showed her face in a number of other artistic black and white photos.

Lola said in a press statement about her EP: ‘I called this EP Dreamer because I wouldn’t be who I am today without dreaming. Being a dreamer showed me my heart’s desire and gave my life vision and purpose.”

“The word perfectly sums up every song on the EP, because they were born from the seed of a dream, from a wistful moment where I lose sight of the literal world and connect with something transcendent.”

She continued, “I’m very excited to be sharing this body of work, each song captures a moment in my life and together they convey a story of me, a broader sense of my experiences and reactions.”

‘Making the music on this EP has been one of the best times of my life, it’s been so rewarding to see my ideas come to life, to be challenged and grow, and finally to share my work with others. to share.’

The first single, Dreamer, follows the release of Lola’s previous singles Back At Wrong, La La Love Me, Wherever You Go, Love Like That and Want More.

Last week, Kaya Stewart shocked the American Idol judges when she auditioned with her Eurythmics co-founder father.

The 23-year-old singer immediately attracted attention when she was joined by her famous father, who instantly recognized judge Lionel Richie.

Before singing the song – This Tattoo – she revealed that she wrote it with her father, adding that she chose Idol because the show offered her a chance to showcase original songs she wrote, unlike other competitions.

As her father joined her on stage and joined her on guitar, Kaya got a yes from all three judges – Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan – who moved on to the Hollywood stage of the competition.

Stewart formed Eurythmics with Lennox after they were both in a band called The Tourists which broke up that same year.

Their first album – In the Garden – was released in 1981 to little fanfare, but their second album, 1983’s Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This), was an international hit.

They would go on to sell a staggering 75 million albums worldwide and won Best New Artist at the 1984 MTV Video Music Awards.

Although Lennox would eventually launch a successful career as a solo artist, Stewart became quite in demand as a writer and producer.
