Annie Kilner confirms she has separated from footballer husband Kyle Walker after two years of marriage: ‘I have decided to take some time away’

Annie Kilner has announced she is divorcing footballer husband Kyle Walker after two years of marriage.

The brunette exchanged vows with Manchester City and England right-back Walker in 2021 after a 12-year relationship during which they welcomed three children.

But on Wednesday evening, Kilner confirmed her divorce from the footballer in an Instagram post.

She wrote, “Sadly, after many years of marriage and three wonderful children together, I have decided to take some time away from Kyle.

‘I don’t want to comment further on the situation. For now, I ask that the privacy of myself and my three young children be respected during this difficult time.”

Walker secretly married childhood sweetheart Kilner in 2021. They share children Riaan, Roman and Reign.

Last month it was claimed the couple had fallen out over his involvement with Lauryn Goodman after embarking on a brief romance with the TV personality during a previous divorce in 2019.

Goodman now shares son Kairo, three, from her relationship with the footballer – and the two women have had a long-running feud.

A source said: “Kyle and Annie have had a falling out. She said she had had enough because of all the constant issues with Lauryn.

“This week there was another legal meeting involving her and Kyle. It puts a lot of pressure on them.

“Annie hasn’t done anything wrong, other than trusting him. She wants to keep things together.”

But Walker set the record straight by saying he is still with Annie after legal meetings with Goodman reportedly put a strain on their relationship.

He told The sun outside the couple’s Cheshire country home: ‘We’re not broken up. I’m here at my family’s house, aren’t I?’

It comes after Kyle reportedly bought his ex Lauryn and her children ‘a seaside mansion worth £2.5million, spending £40,000 on curtains alone’ earlier this year.

The influencer, 32, became pregnant with son Kairo, three, while in a short relationship with the footballer.

She welcomed a second child, a girl, in August. Lauryn doesn’t want to publicly name her newborn baby’s father yet, but he is also reportedly a football player.

Lauryn previously accused Annie of treating her son like an “outcast” and acting like he was a “dirty secret” after commenting on Kyle’s “three sons” instead of four.

Lauryn hasn’t decided on a name for her baby girl yet, and the source adds that she would like something that starts with the letter “K,” just like the newborn’s older brother, Kairo.

The internet personality has asked her social media followers for their thoughts on girls’ names starting with ‘K’.

It took a year for Lauryn to publicly reveal her son’s name, but she had a necklace made with his initials “KW” to match his father’s.

Lauryn revealed she was expecting her second child in March this year.

Lauryn shared a photo of herself and son Kairo on Instagram and could see the baby bump as she posed in a bikini during a beach vacation.

“FYI…It’s a BABY! Family completed in 2023. Fertility bracelet still going strong – find the mother and baby collection with @lovecrystalhealinglife,” she captioned the sweet post.

Lauryn became pregnant with Kairo while briefly dating sportsman Kyle while temporarily separated from his wife Annie.

Lauryn recently slapped Annie after she allegedly took a “vengeful swipe” at her son.

The two women are no strangers to disagreeing over whether Kyle is the father of Lauryn’s child, with WAG Annie herself sharing three sons with the sportsman.

Lauryn accused Annie of treating her son like an “outcast” and acting like he was a “dirty secret” after Annie shared an Instagram post commenting on Kyle’s “three sons” instead of four.

The row started after Manchester City’s recent treble win, with Lauryn sharing a photo of Kairo wearing his father’s kit.

On Instagram she wrote: ‘2023 what a special year, history made. I understand we skipped a few chapters here…@kairowalker always supports us.’

However, Annie seemingly hit back at Lauryn’s post with a photo of her own, showing her sons Riaan, Roman and Reign on the court with their father, captioning the photo: “3 is the magic number.”

She added: ‘Winning the Champions League with your father. All these memories you get with your dad.

‘Nothing and no one will ever take that away from you. We have three.’

Furious at the post, Lauryn then lashed out at Annie, labeling her an “evil stepmother” who is trying to “wipe out” her son’s “existence.”

The beauty said Annie was well aware that Lauryn was pregnant when she rekindled her relationship with Kyle and shouldn’t have gotten back with him if she couldn’t “handle” the fact that he was having another child.

Lauryn accused Annie of being “toxic” towards her child and taking out her grievances about the situation on the toddler, stating that she and Kyle’s son are “not a dirty secret” that can be swept under the rug.

TV personality Chloe Goodman’s sister told the publication that she also posted a photo of her son’s certificate after Annie’s post because she was “so fed up” with Kairo being “erased” as Kyle’s son.

She continued to say that Annie’s latest dig was the “last straw”, which was “so disgusting”, and insisted that the England player will always be Kairo’s father “whether she likes it or not.”
