Anne Winters revealed that she had entered a malnutrition treatment center by sharing several posts on her Instagram account.
The 29-year-old artist first revealed her plans to start a treatment plan for her condition by sharing a video with her followers last Thursday.
The actress – who was trying to land a role in the Cher biopic – also wrote a short message in the caption of her post to express that she felt “very blessed” to have found a center that would address her concerns.
Winters started her video by saying that she was grateful for her fans’ concern and that she never intended to drop to a dangerous weight level.
“I know a lot of you guys on Instagram have been really worried about me, and I’ve also been keeping up with my doctor and stuff like that because I wasn’t trying to become like that. I wasn’t trying to get that skinny, I don’t want to be that skinny.’

The Daytime Emmy Award-winning actress added that she struggled to find a treatment center that would address her issues.
“A lot of places for this particular thing, for your body, only seat 26-year-olds and under. So I fly to one place in the country after, thank God, I searched with help for somewhere to go,” she said.
However, Winters remained optimistic, stating that through treatment she was determined to embrace a healthier lifestyle.
“Good news is that I’m getting back on track so my body is no longer holding me back,” she said.
The Orville cast member shared a post to her account on Saturday to let her fans know that she had checked into her center and was excited to start her treatment.
Winters then talked about how she may have come close to death and how her physical health affected her mental health.
“I learned that when malnutrition takes over, your mind can convince you of your penance, which I felt… crazy how my body might be on its last margin of survival. I am shocked. I honestly thought I knew my body better than this. Anyway, I admit I was wrong,” she wrote.
The performer then added that she was “happy to be here” and that she was “getting my best self yet.”
