Anne Hathaway has always been at the forefront of fashion and she proved it again on Tuesday when she was in New York, just days after a glamorous appearance at the Albie Awards.

The beautiful Oscar winner, 40, rocked a quirky ensemble with a double denim design for her appearance on the Today show.

Her classic black suit jacket had a corset-like detail made from denim material, while her trousers also reflected the style.

She added a set of designer shades to the mix and hit the pavement in a pair of sky-high stilettos.

While the ensemble was certainly a fashion risk, Anne rocked it with aplomb as she posed like a pro for the shutterbugs.

During Anne’s last visit to the morning show in September, she talked about her thoughts on aging and beauty.

“I don’t really think about age,” she began.

‘For me, growing older is another word for life.’

Anne, who started her acting career at the age of 17, also noted the prevailing perception in Hollywood that actresses face a difficult career hurdle once they reach a certain age.

The Intern star said: ‘If people want to compliment you, that’s nice.’

“But whatever the hype, I’m interested in what goes beyond the concept of hype,” she noted.

Currently, Anne has taken on the role of global brand ambassador for skincare brand Shiseido, which has launched its latest campaign under the tagline ‘Potential knows no age.’

Discussing the campaign’s slogan, Anne noted, “I like getting that out there.

Meanwhile, Anne had a sweet reunion with her Devil Wears Prada costar Meryl Streep74, last week.

The two Hollywood heavyweights reunited during the the Clooney Foundation For Justice’s second annual Albie Awards New York City on Thursday.

Meryl was in a sensible black ensemble while Anne Put on a glamorous show in a fitted slip dress with a light green and silver checkered pattern from Versace.

The actress who stole the iconic film from the legendary actresses also made an appearance, while Emily Blunt, 40, took part in the activities with her husband John Krasinski.
