The duo reflected on Anne’s remarkable year of fashion, which wouldn’t have been possible without Erin.

Anne’s style is, by the way, fabulous. She always looks out of this world, cool and trendy and fun, but she’s also pretty easy going,” Erin told the publication.

“Erin sees my idiosyncrasies as a strength,” Anne explained.

“Maybe there was some initial confusion with me because I was introduced to the world as a teenage princess, but I never really connected with the things that are ‘sweet’ and ‘pretty,’ no shade for those wonderful options. I love the right risk, just like her.

With Erin’s experience, Anne has been wowing at some of the world’s biggest events in the past year, from Cannes to the Sundance Film Festival.

Luckily, she was even seen rubbing shoulders with the woman who inspired the movie, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

Speaking of that look in particular, Erin said: ‘We weren’t expecting that response.

“It was a lot of fun, especially since my first fashion job was at Vogue when The Devil Wears Prada came out. The universe really has a plan.

Anne also had a lot of fun expressing herself through fashion last year.

‘I’ve never had so much fun, and it’s supposed to be fun, right?’
