Anne Hathaway made a surprise appearance in London when she appeared out of nowhere while Tom Grennan was rehearsing for his Graham Norton show.

The 40-year-old Hollywood actress looked around the corner of the BBC studios in London as the 27-year-old British singer practiced backstage.

To Tom’s surprise, Anne came over to say hello and the couple hugged and she told him she was a fan.

She beamed as she danced to her new single Here with her band, and when they finished, she greeted the British nominee.

They seemed pleased to meet each other, and the singer shared the funny and bizarre crossover on his Instagram stories.

Anne was wearing a black button-up cardigan and a pair of dark blue denim jeans.

The two chatted before her performance on the Graham Norton Show, where she joined Julianne Moore, Salma Hayek Pinault, Shania Twain, Strictly’s Johannes Radebe and Lizzo on the iconic red sofa.

On Saturday night, Tom gets up for the Best Alternative/Rock: Their third consecutive BRIT Award nomination.

Speaking about filming the psychological thriller, he says, “It was a lot of fun shooting and it’s amazing.

“The script was wonderful, and I never knew what was coming when I read it. He stays one step ahead of you all the time.

Asked by Graham about the production of the film and his involvement in the casting, he added, “It’s weird and very touchy because I know what it means because I’ve been there, so I’m wrong to give everyone a chance.”
