Anne Hathaway looks unrecognizable with blonde wig and spooky makeup as she kicks off Halloween early

Anne Hathaway is ready for Halloween and she’s excited to show it.

The 41-year-old Princess Diaries star – who a Hollywood hairstylist claims is worse to work with than Blake Lively – took Instagram to share beautiful selfies while looking unrecognizable in a blonde wig and creepy makeup.

On Friday, she modeled a one-of-a-kind Lady Liberty costume, including a homemade “Boo York City” T-shirt, a short bleach blonde bob wig and the monument’s famous crown.

She upped her look with light-colored makeup, dark under-eye circles, deep velvet lipstick and sharp eyeliner.

“Boo York City,” she captioned the carousel of photos along with several Halloween-themed emojis.

Her post was a hit with her 35.3 million followers, with more than 780,000 likes and hundreds of comments from fans praising the starlet for her unique take on the iconic Statue of Liberty.

It earned a like from Italian socialite Donatella Versace, who also commented on a series of gray hearts.

“You’re the only one who can scare me and I don’t care,” read one of the top comments.

“You could haunt me day and night,” another added. One supporter said: ‘Try harder next time, you’re still cute.’

Hathaway’s chilling Halloween costume comes days after she revealed she’s returning for the third installment of Disney’s Princess Diaries franchise.

The starlet took to Instagram to confirm the news, sharing clips from the film as she counted down to the announcement.

“Miracles happen,” she wrote to fans. ‘Back to Genovia with @adeleblim @disney @somewherepictures. The fairy tale continues.’

However, Julie Andrews has already confirmed that she will not be reprising her role as Queen Clarisse Renaldi.

The Grammy winner told Access Hollywood: “It was talked about shortly after two [The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement] came out, but how many years is it now? And I’m so much older and Annie the princess, or queen, is so much older.’

She also told The Hollywood Reporter, “I think it would be too late to do it now. Especially me, it’s too far to go back to it now. It’s a nice thought, but I don’t think it would probably be possible.’
