A primary school pupil has been rushed to hospital after his leg was impaled under a fence.
Emergency services were called to Annandale North Public School, on Johnston Street, in Sydney’s west, at 10am on Tuesday.
The male student was found trapped under a fence with his lower leg impaled.
Paramedics freed the boy before he was taken to Sydney Children’s Hospital in a stable condition.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia the boy fell before becoming stuck.
