This week, Netflix released a trailer for the upcoming documentary about the starlet — which, the insider revealed exclusively to DailyMail.com, both Larry and Dannielyn declined to appear in.

“Larry was asked to star in the documentary, but he declined,” explains a source close to Larry, who dated Anna Nicole off and on for four years before her death. “Larry wishes luck to anyone who wants to tell Anna’s story in a different way, but he feels that nothing released so far has scratched the surface of the real story.”

Now Larry and his daughter have decided to take matters into their own hands by starting production on their own documentary project, which will use “explosive” personal diaries Anna Nicole has kept over the course of a decade – as well as secret home videos that are included. by the model itself.

“They are developing a documentary currently in the works, using Anna Nicole’s personal diaries and diaries documenting her highs and lows throughout her life,” the insider told me.

Anna put Howard’s name on Dannielynn’s birth certificate — and Larry became embroiled in a bitter custody battle that continued for months after the model’s death.

On April 10, 2007, a judge ruled Larry as Dannielynn’s biological father after this was determined by a DNA test.

Larry immediately amended the birth certificate and transferred Howard’s parental rights to him.

He also moved Dannielynn to his home in Kentucky, where they still live.
