Sharon and Ankur’s real estate agent says drama on The Block doesn’t reflect couple’s ‘winning home’ ahead of auction day
Sharon Johal and Ankur Dogra’s real estate agent has spoken out about representing The Block’s most controversial couple on auction day.
Sean Parker of Macedon Ranges Sotheby’s International Realty said the team’s on-screen drama does not reflect the quality of their finished home.
“I think it’s a house you have to see. Yeah, if you’re watching the show, you probably wouldn’t want to come to House 3, but people who made it up are quite impressed,” she told host Shelley Craft on The Block Podcast.

“I’ve even had comments that it’s the winning house.”
Mr. Parker also revealed interest from interstate buyers.
“There’s some interest from interstate, we’ve had a few buyers from NSW come in as investors, so there’s a bit of a mix,” he said.

It comes after Sharon and Ankur were less than impressed with the judges’ feedback during Monday’s open-air reveals.
Darren Palmer, Neale Whitaker and Shaynna Blaze criticized the location of the pool and outdoor dining area.
“This is very, very bad planning. I think it takes away the majesty of this house and adds no value,” Shaynna commented.
‘It’s a pool you can’t access and a fire pit’ [hidden] down an alley,” she added.

Darren agreed, saying, “You have a master bedroom and private bathroom and this outdoor space that is not connected to the living space.”
After listening to the feedback, Ankur said, “No respect for the judges, but I don’t really care what they say as it’s the last [reveal].
“The house will sell itself anyway.”
“You may save and smoke your comments,” Sharon added.
The Block Final will air on Channel Nine and 9Now at 7pm on Sunday
