The latest: A man who claims to have worked for the late Euphoria actor Angus Cloud said the actor struggled in his battle with addiction after completing rehab two years ago
The Twitter thread from a man named Diomi Cordero came in April, more than three months before Cloud’s death at the age of 25 at his family’s home in Oakland on Monday
“When he entered his premises and tried to greet him with a hug, it became immediately apparent that he had resumed his drug abuse just two days after completing his treatment,” Cordero said.
He said Cloud’s “situation” gradually worsened over the coming months, and that by November 2021 it was clear that the Oakland resident had “apparently given up control of his addiction.”
Cordero said that at a time when he was working with Cloud, a roommate of the HBO star called him once to say that Cloud was having trouble breathing.
He said he went to the actor’s house and gave him CPR and Narcan, a drug used to combat narcotics overdoses.
“Unfortunately, when he regained consciousness, Angus vomited in my face,” Cordero said.
Cordero said he came up with a plan to get the actor into another rehab while Cloud worked on Euphoria’s second season during the final two weeks of production.
He said Cloud continued to use narcotics during rehab, eventually checking out early to work on the movie Your Lucky Day.
Cordero said Cloud had been “extremely rude” to him, going “so far as to publicly humiliate me in front of his friends and even my colleagues.”
On July 14, he had shared a post on Instagram with an image of his father with the caption “miss u breh”

The show Euphoria said in a tweet about the actor: ‘He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and Euphoria family’
Cordero said he resigned after another of the actor’s managers told him he didn’t want him to go with him to Europe, where he was going to attend a fashion show for Versace.
Cordero said airport staff on JFK Cloud wouldn’t let him board the plane because he was “so high on drugs.”
In the middle of the thread, Cordero posted a photo of the actor supposedly under the influence of drugs while attending a fashion show.
Cordero said in April that he was pursuing about $60,000 for the work he did for Cloud.
“By sharing my story, I hope not only to find comfort and healing, but also inspire others who may be struggling to find their voice in an industry where most are silenced,” said Cordero. “I wanted to be a testament to the strength to speak up and acknowledge your truth, even in the face of adversity.”
