Angry Spanish cleaners film themselves cleaning a pigsty in an Ibiza hotel littered with discarded vapes, tampons and takeaway boxes as viewers blame ‘normal British tourist behaviour’

Spanish cleaners have filmed themselves working through mountains of rubbish after a group of tourists trashed their hotel room in Ibiza.

Video footage shows discarded vapes, tampons and takeaway boxes littering the floor of the White Isle suite.

The massacre was filmed by an outraged staff member named Sandra Carmona, who lashed out at the “foreigners” she believed were responsible.

The 47-year-old can be heard in utter disbelief at the state of the room, saying: ‘How can people come here, from all different countries, and do this? It’s not normal to mess up a room like this when you have a party.’

‘They even leave their thongs and tampons behind… what were these foreigners thinking? Poor cleaners,’ she said, adding that they deserved a bonus.

While it is unclear who was responsible for the tip-off, viewers of the viral clip in Spain and the UK blamed Britons, for whom the Balearic island is a popular holiday destination.

One social media user commented on the state of the room: “Completely normal British tourist behaviour.”

Whoever was staying in the room had clearly had a wild vacation: there was a nearly empty bottle of booze on the side table and fast food on the floor.

Also seen are black garbage bags, candy bags and tampon wrappers, with shocked viewers comparing the scenes to a “pigsty.”

Someone suggested a possible solution to ‘force (guests) to pay a deposit. If they leave it like that, that money goes to the cleaning staff.’

But the TikTok video, which was viewed thousands of times on the social media platform, has divided opinions among travelers.

Someone noted, “It’s your job to clean what you complain about. That’s what a hotel is for, to chill, not to clean for checkout.”

“I don’t clean anything when I go to hotels, I pay a fortune for it and it’s getting more expensive. I’m not going to do anyone’s job, I’m paying for it,” said another unsympathetic person.

Meanwhile, another astonished commenter said: “And I left the beds with the clothes off and the towels all in a corner, worried about not leaving a mess.”
