Angry New York Jets fans tell Aaron Rodgers to retire after nightmare loss  against Arizona Cardinals

Frustrated New York Jets fans unanimously agreed that Aaron Rodgers should retire after a dismal performance in their 6-31 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

Rodgers completed 22 of 35 passes for 151 yards and zero touchdowns while being sacked three times as the Jets were blown out on Sunday.

With his team outclassed on the pitch, fans called for Rodgers to hang up his boots after the match as he seems unable to find traction with the team late in his career.

“I’m glad to see Aaron Rodgers as a loser,” one fan wrote. ‘He knows it all/doesn’t know it, should move on and retire. I took Saleh out of there so they would still look terrible. They are such an unserious franchise.”

“I want Aaron Rodgers to retire after this year,” another added. ‘Please and thank you…’

“Aaron Rodgers is a bum,” chimed in a third. “His sorry a** needs to retire.”

A fourth fan quoted UFC chief Dana White as pleading for Rodgers to call it quits.

“Dana White says, ‘Once a fighter talks about retiring, he or she should just retire,’” the fan said. “When Aaron Rodgers went to Mcafee to announce his intention to play for the Jets, he also said he was 90% retired when he went into obscurity.”

“Aaron Rodgers should retire and give the Jets all their money back,” a fifth insisted.

“Aaron Rodgers needs to retire,” echoed a sixth. “He’s the biggest burden on the jets.”

Rodgers’ tenure with the Jets started tragically last year when he tore his Achilles tendon on opening night against the Buffalo Bills and missed the rest of the season.

This year, Rodgers looked for redemption after recovering from the injury. However, it seems like the team can’t get on the same page as their losing ways continue.

Rodgers has completed 197 of 316 passes for 2,107 yards and 15 touchdowns this season. On the other hand, he threw seven interceptions and was sacked 20 times.

While the 2011 NFL MVP miraculously led New York to a win over the Houston Texans in late October, Sunday’s loss left the Jets with a 3-7 record. Rodgers and Co. will take on the Indianapolis Colts on November 17.
