Angelina Jolie’s bizarre reaction when asked if she’s worried about son Maddox flying planes

Angelina Jolie had a surprising answer for a reporter who asked if she is “nervous” about her son Maddox flying a plane.

The 49-year-old, critically acclaimed actress answered “No” in her recent W magazine interview when asked about her 23-year-old child.

In the glossy’s Part 1, Best Performances, she explained: ‘Maybe I just have a big family.

“I’m more concerned about people not finding themselves and something they love. I think that’s more dangerous: going through life so hesitantly that you don’t take any risks. You don’t wake up with passion. I find that scarier.’

She explained, “I’d rather have them try and fail than not push and be passionate.”

In December, she confirmed that Maddox had become a trained pilot during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Angelina also has a pilot’s license, which she obtained in 2004, inspired by her son.

“Every time Mad sees a plane, he is amazed,” she previously said People magazine. “If I can actually fly a plane by the time he’s four, I’ll be like Superman to him.”

She later purchased a Cirrus SR22-G2, a single-engine aircraft, and used the initials MX in her tail number as a nod to her child.

In 2017, she told the outlet, “He’s quite capable and always surprises me. He’s been practicing flying, and then they called me the other day and said, ‘So Mad can go solo,’ and I almost dropped the phone!’

Elsewhere in her new W movie, Jolie noted that she hates liars.

“My pet peeve is someone who is a liar,” she opened.

“Someone who feels the need not to say the truth, or what he wants, what he feels,” she continued.

‘There’s a big version of that – and I try not to make a big deal about it – but people who say one thing and mean another, who aren’t quite who they are. “I think a lot of people don’t say what they mean,” she said.

In addition to Maddox, the Maria sensation is mom to Pax, 21, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and fraternal twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.
