Angelina Jolie says she hates ‘liars’ in first interview since nasty Brad Pitt divorce is finalized
Angelina Jolie has spoken about her worst pet peeve.
Turns out it’s not something small like bad manners or a bad tip; it’s actually a crippling problem.
“My pet peeve is someone who is a liar,” the Maria actress – who finalized her divorce from Brad Pitt last week – told the Great Performances issue of W magazine.
“Someone who feels the need not to say the truth, or what he wants, what he feels,” the mother added to six.
‘There’s a big version of that – and I try not to make a big deal about it – but people who say one thing and mean another, who aren’t quite who they are. I think a lot of people don’t say what they mean.’
The comment could come as a barb for Pitt, with whom she had feuded for eight years over their divorce. The fight was nasty because it involved their six children and a lot of money; they are still fighting over Chateau Miraval.
Part 1, Best Performances W magazine hits is on February 11, 2025.

Angelina also said that it wasn’t really her dream to become a Hollywood actress.
‘I did it in the beginning because it was my mother’s dream. My mother was my manager and we were a team. I always wanted to buy her a house, and I started paying the bills. When my mother passed away, it was harder for me to be an actress because I realized how much it meant to her.”
She next makes an action film called Maude v Maude with Halle Berry.
Last week, Jolie and Pitt reached a settlement in their divorce.
Eight years after Angelina filed for divorce on the grounds of ‘irreconcilable differences’, the former couple has finally agreed on terms and both signed off.
Angelina’s attorney James Simon told PEOPLE, “More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left behind all the belongings they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family.
‘This is just part of a long-term process that started eight years ago.
“Honestly, Angelina is exhausted, but she’s relieved that this one part is over.”
Although the split was acrimonious, a source close to Jolie added: “She doesn’t speak ill of it [Pitt] publicly or privately. She did her best to be light after a dark time.”

They said: ‘The parties and their counsel have signed agreements to protect the privacy rights of their children and family by keeping all court documents confidential and retaining a private judge to make all necessary legal decisions and the expeditious resolution of any remaining to facilitate issues.
“The parents are determined to act as a united front to achieve recovery and reunification.”
The former couple share children Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Vivienne and Knox, now 16.
