Game Of Thrones stars Kit Harington and Nathalie Emmanuel were also present at the screening.

It comes after Angelina revealed she ‘almost fainted’ while filming for Maria.
The actress fully immersed herself in Callas’ world before filming, taking Italian lessons and studying footage of the iconic opera singer to perfect her graceful posture and lyrical speaking voice.
The film mixes Angelina’s operatic vocals with real recordings of Callas.
“When I first started singing, I would pass out almost every time I sang,” she said USA today: ‘I just couldn’t fully understand that my body wasn’t strong enough.
“It’s like being an athlete: it’s one of the most physically demanding things you can do.”
Maria was directed by Pablo Larrain – who is behind other projects such as Jackie (2016) and Spencer (2021).

The biopic had its first premiere in August at the 81st Venice International Film Festival, where it competed for the Golden Lion.
The film had a limited theatrical release in the United States starting on November 27, before arriving on Netflix the following month on December 11.
The film’s premise is: “Maria Callas, the world’s greatest opera singer, lives the last days of her life in 1970s Paris, confronting her identity and life,” according to a synopsis on IMDB.
During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Angelina talked about playing Callas and taking singing lessons for the film.
‘It took many months of singing lessons. Just singing for months and then the Italian lessons and then the voice and doing all these things like they do. You try to be precise,” she explained.
‘I would recommend almost anyone to take opera lessons. To exist and never have sung with your whole body as loudly as you could sing…’
Jolie continued, “I think we all have to feel it. It’s scary, and it’s rarely asked of us. Rarely in life are we asked to be all we can be or feel all we feel.”

Two of her children, Maddox, 23, and Pax, 20 – who she shares with ex Brad Pitt – also helped with the production.
“Mad and Pax were here. do AD [assistant directing] work. They’ve done that before and I think it’s good for them.’
‘Pax tends to do stills and he gets called in, and [director] Pablo was great and realized he was good at it,” she added.
Angelina also revealed the reason why she decided to step back from the camera – explaining that she didn’t need to be home with her kids as much.
‘They are a bit older and are becoming more independent. I am needed less and can therefore leave for different periods.’
She added, “And they’re old enough to work with me. It’s a new season in our lives. I think it’s great that they are coming into their own more and more every day.’
