Angelina Jolie is all smiles as she wraps up in an elegant camel winter coat as she leaves her Paris hotel while shooting new movie Stitches in the French capital

Angelina Jolie dressed warmly when she left for Paris on Sunday.

The actress, 49, turned heads in an elegant camel winter coat as she left her hotel in the French capital and was all smiles as she headed out for the night.

She kept it casual in black pants and slippers and let her honeyed locks flow for the occasion.

The Hollywood star looked as radiant as ever as she walked past a cheerful Christmas decoration.

When she turned around, Angelina revealed a large brown handbag slung over her shoulder.

The Maleficent star has Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, Knox, 16, and Vivienne, also 16, with her ex-husband Brad Pitt.

It is believed that she was joined by her eldest son, who reportedly lit a cigarette as they went into town.

The Hollywood actress has been in France to shoot her new film Stitches, in which she stars in the film as a filmmaker and is one of three women whose lives will collide during Fashion Week.

No release date has been announced for the film yet, but last week the actress left the set with her two middle children in tow.

The drama film is written and directed by Alice Winocour and Angelina will share the screen with Louis Garrel, Ella Rumpf and Garance Marillier.

The outing comes after Angelina revealed she ‘almost fainted’ while filming her latest movie Maria.

The actress recently immersed herself in the world of famed opera singer Maria Callas, taking Italian lessons and studying footage to perfect her graceful posture and lyrical speaking voice.

The film mixes Angelina’s operatic vocals with real recordings of Callas.

“When I first started singing, I would pass out almost every time I sang,” she said USA today: ‘I just couldn’t fully understand that my body wasn’t strong enough.

“It’s like being an athlete: it’s one of the most physically demanding things you can do.”

Maria was directed by Pablo Larrain – who is behind other projects such as Jackie (2016) and Spencer (2021).

Besides Jolie, other stars cast in the film include Pierfrancesco Favino, Alba Rohrwacher, Haluk Bilginer and Kodi Smit-McPhee.

The biopic had its first premiere in August at the 81st Venice International Film Festival, where it competed for the Golden Lion.

The film had a limited theatrical release in the United States starting on November 27, before arriving on Netflix the following month on December 11.

The film’s premise is: “Maria Callas, the world’s greatest opera singer, lives the last days of her life in 1970s Paris, confronting her identity and life,” according to a synopsis on IMDB.

During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Angelina talked about playing Callas and taking singing lessons for the film.

‘It took many months of singing lessons. Just singing for months and then the Italian lessons and then the voice and doing all these things like they do. You try to be precise,” she explained.

‘I would recommend almost anyone to take opera lessons. To exist and never have sung with your whole body as loudly as you could sing…’
