Angelina Jolie comforting Pax Jolie-Pitt in hospital bedside after witnesses feared he was dead in e-bike accident… but will estranged dad Brad Pitt visit?

The electric bicycle crash of Pax Jolie-Pitt, the son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, was so violent that witnesses initially thought the 20-year-old had died, reports TMZ.

On Monday, the famous child suffered head injuries after crashing his e-bike into the back of a car while riding in Los Angeles.

Pax is still in the hospital, with his mother Angelina at his side.

A source told the newspaper on Tuesday that bystanders who rushed to Pax’s side thought he had died in the crash until emergency services arrived and he regained consciousness.

Despite his injuries, Pax’s bicycle showed no visible damage.

The 20-year-old celebrity was riding his electric bike in Los Angeles when he crashed into the back of a car, police sources said. TMZ.

The police and ambulance crew decided to take him to the hospital as soon as possible, because he complained of a headache and he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for Pitt and Jolie for comment.

Pax, who like several of his other siblings is estranged from his famous father, was reportedly driving on Los Feliz Boulevard around 5 p.m., putting him on a street that is normally busy during rush hour.

According to police sources, he drove up to an intersection and collided with his bicycle into the back of the car, which was already at the red traffic light.

According to reports, the driver of the car did his duty by getting out and checking on the injured Pax before police and ambulance arrived.

While it is unclear where exactly he collided with the car, witnesses at the scene said he complained of pain in his hip and that he suffered a head injury in the crash.

Emergency services were reportedly concerned that Pax had suffered a brain hemorrhage, so they rushed him to the hospital in case the worst happened.

Sources later told TMZ that Pax was in stable condition after being hospitalized, but the full extent of his injuries is not yet clear.

However, they said he could possibly go home Monday night, just hours after the crash.

In recent months, Pax has been spotted around Los Angeles riding an electric bike, the Talaria Sting R MX4, which retails for around $3,000. It’s unknown, however, if this is the same bike he crashed.

He was last photographed riding the dirt bike on July 11.

It is striking that he was not wearing a helmet when he was photographed cycling on a public road.

California law requires all cyclists and motorcyclists under the age of 18 to wear a helmet. However, it is unclear whether the type of bike Pax was riding at the time required him to wear a helmet.

Two days later, he and his mother Angelina made a rare public appearance when they went for Japanese food at the popular West Hollywood hotspot Sushi Park.

In addition to Pax, who Jolie adopted in Vietnam in 2007 at age 3, she and ex Brad have five other children: Maddox, 22; Zahara, 19; Shiloh, 18; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.

Jolie adopted Maddox in Cambodia in 2002 and later adopted Zahara in Ethiopia in 2005, while Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne are their biological children.

Pitt later adopted Maddox and Zahara with her in 2006 and Pax in 2008.

Pitt and Jolie entered a public relationship shortly after he and then-wife Jennifer Aniston announced their separation in 2005.

The Mr. And Mrs. Smith cast members remained single for years, despite having multiple adopted and biological children. They got engaged in 2012, and finally tied the knot in 2014.

However, the Maleficent actress filed for divorce in 2016. She and Pitt were officially declared single in 2019.

The two A-list stars have been embroiled in a divorce battle over assets and custody for years.

A major theme seems to be the infamous private jet confrontation in 2016.

According to an FBI report on the incident, released in 2022, Jolie accused Pitt of physical abuse after a flight to California in 2016.

She claimed he was drunk and that he grabbed her head and shook her back and forth. He later pushed her over. It was said to be a confrontation that was probably related to their children.

According to the FBI, Jolie said Pitt told the children she was “ruining the family” and punched the ceiling of the plane four times.

She also claimed that at one point he threw beer over her and a blanket that she was lying under with several children.

Sources close to Pitt later claimed that he had never hit any of the children, although they did admit he had been drinking.

The Once Upon A Time In Hollywood star reportedly had to be accompanied by child caregivers and a therapist during family visits following the plane incident.

The latest signs of estrangement between Pitt and his children came in May.

His youngest daughter Vivienne, who had served as Jolie’s assistant when she produced the Broadway musical adaptation of The Outsiders, listed her name as Vivienne Jolie on the show’s program – rather than using what had previously been her name – Vivienne Jolie-Pitt – although it is unclear whether she may have legally changed it.

Later that month, his daughter Shiloh filed a legal request to remove his last name from her own name once she turned 18.

However, a clerical error in the court’s background check process led to a delay in the hearing on the request, People reported on Monday.

In November 2023, Zahara announced her name as “Zahara Marley Jolie” during her sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha induction ceremony at Spelman College, dropping “Pitt” from her last name.

After children appeared to remove Pitt’s name from their own names for the last time, it was reported that the eldest boys, Pax and Maddox, had not used their hyphenated names for years. It is not known, however, whether they have officially changed their names.

Because Pax and his three eldest siblings are all over 18, they don’t have to visit Pitt regularly, unlike his minor children, Knox and Vivienne.

In May, a source close to the Oscar winner told DailyMail.com that he hopes to “rekindle” his relationship with his children, who claimed their bond had been “broken by the divorce.”

The source also accused Jolie of ensuring their children had “limited involvement” with their father.
