Angelina Jolie is reportedly seeking help for her “troubled” son Pax, who remains in hospital after being seriously injured in a collision with his electric bike.
The 49-year-old Oscar winner has been in the hospital with the 20-year-old man since Monday, July 29, after he collided with a car during rush hour in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles.
He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. Paramedics who arrived at the scene initially thought he may have had a brain hemorrhage, according to TMZbut no further information about his condition has been released.
Page Six reports that this is not the first time that the young man has been involved in incidents involving two- and four-wheelers.
“His friends are worried about him,” an insider told the outlet, claiming, “He’s being reckless. They’re worried.”

“He’s been in a number of car accidents,” the source claimed.
“It’s not great. Pax is a problem child and Angelina is doing her best to help him.”
The publication reported that LAPD sources indicated there was nothing new to add to the initial report of a traffic accident when asked if charges might be filed.
Pax, born in Vietnam, was adopted by Jolie at age 3, joining his siblings Maddox, 22, and Zahara, 19.
He is said to have a good relationship with them, as well as with his siblings Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.
Maddox and Zahara were adopted by Jolie’s then-partner, Brad Pitt, 60, in 2005, and he adopted Pax in 2008.
Pitt’s three eldest children have been estranged since an alleged 2016 incident on a private jet in which the actor allegedly punched one of his children.
No charges have been filed following an investigation into the alleged incident.
Jolie and Pitt are legally separated, but are still fighting over the sale of Miraval, the vineyard in France.

On Thursday, the Eternals star accused Pitt of trying to get her to sign an $8.5 million nondisclosure agreement in connection with her abuse allegations, according to People.
In the court document, the Maleficent star claimed she acted “not with malicious intent and with the intent to harm Pitt in response to any potential custody decision” when she sold her stake in Miraval in 2021.
“Instead,” she told the court in the document, “it was Pitt who refused to purchase her interest unless he received his recently expanded nondisclosure agreement, enforceable by an $8.5 million withholding specifically designed to force her to remain silent about his abuse and cover-up.”
