WNBA rookie Kamilla Cardoso went on a rampage against a friend Monday night after she compared her to a fictional movie giant.

The Chicago Sky center went live on TikTok with South Carolina basketball player Adhel Tac and tried out a bright red wig, which she felt gave her a certain look.

“Oh, I look like that princess. What’s her name?” she said.

Tac then replied, “Fiona?”, referring to Shrek’s green-skinned wife.

Cardoso didn’t appreciate this reaction from her Gamecock colleague, who called Tac a “f*****gh**” and gave her the middle finger.

Then Tac realized that Cardoso meant Merida, another red-haired princess, and he shyly covered her mouth with his hand.

She went to X to to apologize then, saying: ‘To Kamilla, I didn’t mean to call you Fiona on national television and I’m so sorry. You look like a beautiful Brazilian queen.’

Cardoso responded (perhaps jokingly): “I don’t accept your apologies, have a great life.”

“Oh girl, go back to your swamp,” Tac said, laughing.

In another tweet, she confirmed that she was previously friends with Cardoso: “‘Cause the people in the back FRIENDS can joke.”

Cardoso and his Chicago Sky teammate Angel Reese have formed a formidable partnership

Tac has yet to compete for South Carolina, but she did apply to the school last year and it’s certainly possible that she and Cardoso met during a visit.

After a stellar college career that included two championships under Dawn Staley, Cardoso has had a productive start to his WNBA career.

She is averaging 8.2 points and 7.8 rebounds per game for Sky, while her teammate Angel Reese has also had a record-breaking start.
