Angel Reese gave Kiyan Anthony, a 17-year-old basketball prospect, a serious warning about his love life when she welcomed him to her podcast.
Kiyan, son of basketball legend Carmelo, will announce his college decision in two weeks, a big step for a career that many have predicted will follow his father into the NBA.
But as his fame and profile grew, WNBA star Reese gave him a serious warning about his life off the court in his “Unapologetic Angel” performance.
“You have to be careful,” she said. “If you go to the league — this comes from ‘sister’ — even if you’re in college, you have to be careful around these women.
‘No, really. One mistake: do you see these stories? Ki, don’t do it. I’m coming after you. These women – because you’re 17 – they’re the women you need to worry about who are also much older. Be careful.’

Social media thinks she is referring to Draya Michelle, who had a child at age 39 with Jalen Green, 22
The viral clip has been viewed more than three million times on X and while many fans are praising Reese for looking out for Anthony, other fans also think she is referring to Draya Michelle.
Michelle, 39, just had a child with Houston Rockets star Jalen Green, who at 22 is the same age as her eldest son.
“Draya caught a stray dog lol,” one fan said in the replies, while another said, “Angel is talking directly to Draya.”
Another X user wrote back, “You might as well just say Draya and end it.”
Reese also had some advice for Kiyan when he said he planned to mostly host parties at his house instead of going out.
“You can’t see anyone there,” she told him. “And you tell those girls to drop their phones at the door.
“It’s hard to say that to someone, but if they don’t respect that, they have to leave. Just make sure no one answers.’
Reese wowed earlier this week with her performance at a fashion show in New York
Reese herself has seen her own profile rise dramatically after her rookie WNBA season with the Chicago Sky.
Earlier this week, she wowed on a red carpet at a fashion awards ceremony in New York.
Reese’s first WNBA season ended prematurely due to a wrist injury that required surgery, but she is expected to be ready to play in the new Unrivaled league starting in January.
