Angel Reese teases movie role after signing new sponsorship deal amid her WNBA success

Angel Reese could be following in Travis Kelce’s footsteps as an actress after joining forces with the ‘perfect’ sponsor amid her success in the WNBA and rivalry with Caitlin Clark.

Just a day after signing with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, the 22-year-old Chicago Sky star told X that she’s looking for opportunities outside of basketball.

“When Angel Reese gets that first cameo in the movie, the haters are going to self-destruct,” one fan of the power forward shared on the social media platform.

The 2024 All-Star later responded, “Oh, that’s coming soon.”

Reese, who set the WNBA record for consecutive double-doubles as a rookie this season, already has endorsement deals with Reebok, Beats by Dre and Panini America, a collectible card company.

She recently scored 19 points and grabbed a personal-best 20 rebounds for Chicago (11-16) in an 86-68 loss to the Phoenix Mercury.

The No. 7 overall pick has recorded double-digit rebounds in 20 consecutive games.

After just 27 games, she is the fastest in competition history to reach 20 double-doubles, including each of the last four games.

She also had 12 points and 11 rebounds in the WNBA All-Star Game, playing on the same team as Clark.

Earlier on Wednesday, Reese urged her fans to “go vote” on the radio following the DNC convention in Chicago.

She also responded to Michelle Obama’s speech at the event with a five-word message.

Reese and her Sky teammates suffered a travel disaster after their loss to Sky in Phoenix.

The rookie didn’t arrive home until around 3:30 a.m. after the team’s travel plans were delayed.

On Friday, the sky will once again be opposite the sun in Montville, Connecticut.
