Angel Reese has fired back at Taylor Swift fans on social media amid backlash over her interview with Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole.

Nicole, who dated Kelce for five years before his romance with Swift, discussed her former relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs on Reese’s “Unapologetic Angel” podcast this week.

Among many other revelations, the 32-year-old influencer admitted that she can’t talk to Travis when they see each other in public because of his “situation” with Taylor. She also opened up about the vile abuse ‘Swifties’ subjected her to online.

Reese, who just completed her rookie WNBA season with the Chicago Sky, told Nicole at one point that she “loved her and Kelce” together.

Both have been targeted by Swift’s fans in the aftermath of the interview, with Nicole told to “get over it.” Kelce and Reese were criticized for bringing up the topic to get opinions.

And amid the criticism coming their way, the basketball star responded to X: “Hating pays too,” along with a nail painting emoji.

Nicole detailed the abuse she received from Swift’s fans during Kelce’s relationship with the pop megastar, which was publicly confirmed when she attended a Chiefs game for the first time in September 2023.

“I think the combination of everything is the perfect storm to make you want to completely disappear from the world,” she told Reese of the profound impact it had on her.

‘Behind closed doors, the hardest part is losing a partner, a best friend, who has to talk about cutting ties every day. Then you throw in social media.

“I’d be lying if I said that level of hate and online chaos hasn’t had an impact on me, even to this day. You could go to my most recent posts and people would debate why I suck.

‘It has nothing to do with me. I think there’s something about that level of fame that attracts crazy people, which is a shame because I don’t think I’ve done anything to warrant that kind of reaction.”
