Angel Reese embraces her inner villain as she dons new ‘Joker’ inspired Reebok sneakers against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever
Chicago Sky center Angel Reese appears to be fully embracing her meaner side in the rivalry between herself and Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark.
Clark and Reese have been rivals on the court since their college days – which only recently ended – with Reese seemingly cast as a ‘villain’ in the relationship.
But instead of fighting that, it looks like Reese is embodying it with a new pair of custom Reebok sneakers themed around comic book villain The Joker.
The mainly purple and white shoes feature a bright green Reebok logo and a red midsole, complete with the text of the Joker’s smile.
On the toe of the right shoe, the sneakers even have the comic book villain’s mouth with a wide grin.

It won’t be the first time the Fever and Sky have faced each other this season.
Earlier this year, the Fever managed a one-point victory in a match that caused controversy when Clark was hip-checked by Chennedy Carter.
The ensuing discourse led many people – including politicians – to try to find ways to protect Clark in the field.
All eyes will be on Carter and Clark when they meet again, but fans of the league will also be looking forward to the next chapter in the Clark-Reese rivalry.
