Angel Reese accuses Caitlin Clark fans of being RACIST – and claims they sent her family nude AI pictures of her

Angel Reese said Caitlin Clark has racist fans. She spoke out about their rivalry in her new podcast.

The duo have taken interest in the WNBA to new heights since they were drafted earlier this year. Reese is with the Chicago Sky, while Clark was the first overall pick by the Indiana Fever — a continuation of a fierce college rivalry that saw Reese at LSU and Clark at Iowa.

Reese said, “Caitlin is a great player and I’ve always thought she’s a great player.

“We’ve been playing against each other since high school. So I think it’s really just the fans – her fans, the Iowa fans and now the Indiana (Fever) fans that are rooting for her and I respect that.

“But sometimes it’s very disrespectful. I think there’s a lot of racism when it comes down to it and I don’t think she’s going to accept any of that.”

The Chicago Sky player said fans followed her off the basketball court and targeted her by using AI to take nude photos and send them to her family.

Reese continued, “But when it comes to death threats — I’m talking about people coming to my address and following me home — that’s what it comes down to.

‘Multiple times people have taken AI photos of me, literally naked. They’ve sent them to my family members. Uncles have sent them to me, like “are you naked on Instagram?”

“It’s horrible to see. It’s very difficult that I have to go through something like that and that other players have to go through the same thing.

“But ultimately it’s a game we both love, but there’s no hate.”

Reese and Clark had some exciting games in the WNBA this season, but there were also plenty of controversies.

Reese’s teammate Chennedy Carter pushed Clark off the ball and to the ground, appearing to yell “yo b****” before shoulder-butting her from behind. Reese was not on the court at the time, but jumped up and cheered for the challenge.

In June, Reese was caught with a foul when she tried to clear the ball from Clark, but instead hit her in the head.

“I think some people got a special whistle,” Reese said after the game.

Clark has always downplayed the suggestion that she sees Reese as a rival.

“I’m sure you’re the only ones who see this as a rivalry,” Clark told the media in June.

“For us, it’s just a game of basketball. That’s it. If it advances the game, then absolutely (she’s a rival). That’s great. That’s what it should be. People can talk about it.

“Like I said, if that’s what moves the game forward, then absolutely (call it a rivalry).”

The Fever have already secured a spot in the WNBA playoffs, but Reese and Sky still have a lot of work to do.

They have been in free fall lately, losing their last seven games, and now it’s the turn of the Los Angeles Sparks, the team at the bottom of the standings.
