Portman later went onto the stadium’s pitch during an interview, saying “Once you open yourself up to new adventures, they can lead you to a place like this.”

Former professional soccer player Julie Foudy then commented on the team’s ownership, which is made up of “big names, players, actresses.” Can they pull it off?’

When footage of the team’s games was shown, co-owner and former striker Abby Wambach stated, “To change systems, you have to start over. And you have to rebuild it with something else.’

After the team embraced during a match, Uhrman said the club’s management wanted to “give our players the safety and comfort that no matter what, we bet on each other.”

Goalkeeping coach Daniel Ball then said the team would need to build their resilience as a side ‘brick by brick’ before head coach Freya Coombe addressed the club stating that they ‘deserved the chance to make history’.

After owner group member Jennifer Garner brought the team oranges during a game, Coombe continued, “We’re going to win, we’re going to lose, we’re going to have some tough times.”

Uhrman then promised that the team would “take the sport to the next level and show how valuable it really is.”

Portman concluded the trailer by saying, “There’s no script. We must write our own.’
