Andy Cohen revealed that he would like to host Wheel of Fortune once Pat Sajak retires USA weekly.
“That would be unbelievable,” declared the host of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
Pat, longtime Wheel Of Fortune host, announced last month that he planned to retire after the current season ends filming.
News of the legendary game show host’s retirement immediately sparked rumors of the 76-year-old’s replacement.
Though Andy realized he hadn’t hosted a game show himself yet, he said, “Dream, dream job.” I’d love to,” when asked if he wanted to replace Pat on the show.

A legend bids farewell: 76-year-old Wheel of Fortune host plans to retire in 2024
Pat has hosted Wheel of Fortune since 1981, six years after the American game show first debuted.
Vanna White joined the series in 1982, marking the beginning of their legendary co-hosting partnership.
While the Bravo TV host has thrown his hat in the ring as a possible replacement for Pat, a source said Vanna would “very much consider” taking over the role herself.
The source revealed that Vanna had no plans to step down as co-host of the Wheel of Fortune even after Pat stepped down.
Several other notable names have also expressed interest in taking over the vacant hosting position on Wheel of Fortune.
Among them are The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg and ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith.
American Idol host Ryan Seacrest is also a rumored frontrunner for the coveted position.
However, the longtime Wheel of Fortune host’s successor has yet to be officially confirmed by CBS.

While Andy’s typical job hosting reality TV show reunions on Bravo TV is a far cry from Wheel of Fortune, the 55-year-old television producer made it clear how he felt about the opportunity to succeed Pat.
“Not only is a game show something I haven’t done yet, but that’s the premiere of a game show. It’s really fun,” the radio host added.
With the current game show host not retiring until 2024, there is still time to find the next Pat Sajak.
As for the longtime Wheel of Fortune host himself, he will continue to serve as a Wheel of Fortune consultant for the next three years after his retirement.
“It’s been a great ride and I’ll have more to say in the coming months,” Pat wrote in a statement announcing his retirement on his Twitter page.
