Andrey Rublev hits himself SEVEN times with his racquet in furious row at Wimbledon… a month on from claims that he ‘killed himself’ in French Open meltdown
Andrei Rublev has again expressed concerns about his wellbeing after becoming angry with himself during his first-round match at Wimbledon.
The emotional Russian hit himself seven times on the legs with his racket after a faulty return in a thrilling match against Francisco Comesana on court 2.
In May, after his meltdown at Roland Garros, Rublev admitted: “I can’t remember ever behaving worse at a Grand Slam,” after kicking and screaming his way out of the Grand Slam in Paris.
Now it is his antics at Wimbledon that are raising alarm bells.
More to follow.
