Queensland Police believe Griffiths was taken by car to the same Coopers Plains transport depot where Walsh’s remains were discovered, but are yet to find a body.

Griffiths was last known to be residing in different hotels in the Brisbane area.

Four people had earlier been charged with murder in relation to Griffiths’ disappearance.

On Thursday Detective Inspector Damien Hansen told the media both Walsh and Griffiths, plus the two men charged, had connections to the depot where Walsh’s body was found

‘This has been one of the most complex investigations I’ve been involved in,’ he said.

Police are currently looking for a 2005 grey Volkswagen hatchback that belonged to Walsh.

Detectives on the case continue to appeal for information from anyone in the community who may have information into the disappearances of both men.
