Andrew Tate’s brother Tristan breaks silence after arrest in Romania as social media influencers face extradition to Britain: ‘They will do anything to put you in jail’

Andrew Tate’s brother Tristan has taken to social media to criticize the decision to arrest and extradite him to Britain following the trial of controversial influencers in Romania.

“They will do everything they can to put you in jail,” he wrote in quotes on X, before suggesting that he be denied a trial in the country despite criminal proceedings being underway.

“This is day 441 of my arrest,” he added, “I have a clean record and am an American citizen.”

The British-American brothers were first charged with rape and human trafficking in Romania in June last year, but their case is still being discussed in the preparatory chamber phase and no trial dates have yet been set.

On Monday they were arrested in Bucharest on behalf of Bedfordshire Police, who are investigating new allegations of sexual abuse against them. Yesterday the court ruled that they could be sent back to Britain once their Romanian trial ends.

Outside court yesterday, Andrew Tate insisted he and his brother are ‘very innocent men’.

Both Andrew Tate, 37, and Tristan, 35, “unequivocally deny” allegations of rape and human trafficking dating back to 2012-2015, for which the European arrest warrant was issued.

Speaking to reporters outside the court after the verdict, Andrew Tate said: “I definitely want to give credit to the Romanian justice system for making the right decision today.

In a baseless rant, he continued: “Unfortunately I don’t think many people in Romania understand it, but in the West, in the countries owned by the Satanists, when you reach a certain level of fame you either acquire a dress or you’re going to jail and I’m happy to make my choice, which is jail every time, my soul is not for sale, neither are my principles.

‘We are very innocent men and in time everyone will see that.

“We are pleased to conclude this legal process and clear our names.”

The brothers, who “categorically reject all charges”, will remain under judicial supervision in Romania, preventing them from traveling abroad.

Lawyers McCue Jury & Partners revealed they had tipped off British and Romanian authorities that Andrew Tate was planning to flee Romania.

The firm, which represents four women who have accused Tate of rape and sexual assault, said in a statement: ‘Last week we received information that Tate may have been planning to flee Romania, where he will stand trial on separate charges. of rape and human trafficking.

‘We have written to the British police to bring this to their attention and urge them to immediately apply for a warrant for Tate’s detention in Romania and extradition to Britain.’

It is believed that intelligence prompted Bedfordshire Police to act quickly and ask the Westminster Magistrates Court to issue a European Arrest Warrant so the men could be detained.

Romanian authorities said in a statement that they had been executed

Romanian authorities said in a statement that they “have executed two European arrest warrants issued by the British judicial authorities for the commission of sexual offenses and exploitation of persons in the territory of Great Britain.”

A source told the Mail that the information was a video sent to authorities in Britain and Bucharest in which former kickboxer Tate said he was ‘planning to leave Romania’.

In the video, blogger Adin Ross described how he had been in contact with Tate in recent days and discussed coming to Romania to film an interview with the multi-millionaire.

Ross told his viewers: “This is a fucking highlight” before adding that Tate told him: “Hey, I’m leaving Romania soon and never coming back.”

Tate added, “So if you want to come see me, it’s basically now or never.”

The self-confessed misogynist appeared on Big Brother in 2016 but was later kicked out after a video emerged of him hitting a woman with a belt.

Social commentators and teachers have spoken out against his brand of extreme masculinity and sexism, which has attracted a cult following of millions among young men and schoolboys.

The Tate brothers are currently banned from leaving Romania while an investigation is underway, and have been under house arrest since their first detention in December 2022.

But this condition was later lifted, provided they remained in the country.

A request to leave Bucharest and visit their mother in Luton, who had suffered a heart attack, was rejected by officials at Christmas.

Bedfordshire Police said: ‘As part of an ongoing investigation into allegations of rape and human trafficking, Bedfordshire Police has obtained a European Arrest Warrant for two men in their 30s.

“We are working with authorities in Romania as part of this investigation and will provide an update in due course.”
