Andrew Tate, the controversial social media influencer awaiting trial in Romania on charges of human trafficking and rape, has endorsed controversial boxer Ryan Garcia.
“Free my G,” Tate wrote on X Sunday after the 25-year-old was arrested for misdemeanor vandalism at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Beverly Hills on Saturday evening.
The boxer reportedly damaged more than $15,000 worth of property.
TMZ claimed that Garcia was “apparently under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs” at the time he was handcuffed by authorities.
Over the weekend, more reports emerged suggesting he had been released from prison shortly afterwards, but things got off to a bizarre start a ‘Free Ryan’ crusade on X.

He added, “Prayer Warriors – Please I need prayers – Lots of prayers – Prayers can move mountains – LORD JESUS Save me.”
Garcia, who tested positive for PEDs after his victory over Devin Haney in April, also compared himself to Donald Trump and Britney Spears.
“It’s kind of funny that both Trump and I are in jail,” he said. ‘I don’t know if he’s in prison, but I know he’s been convicted. This sucks, but I love Jesus, I’m going to be okay,” he wrote
In a separate post, Garcia continued, “I feel like I’m Ryan Spears. Also known as Britney Spears. This sucks. I never hurt anyone. I just loved and prayed for everyone. And try to bring change in this cruel world. I love you Christ Jesus Amen.”
Tate has also faced his own legal troubles while facing human trafficking charges

Garcia defeated Haney earlier this year, but his erratic behavior in the build-up left many wondering if he was mentally stable enough to fight.
Meanwhile, Tate is dealing with his own legal troubles after being arrested on charges of human trafficking and rape.
The self-described misogynist, who was banned from multiple social media platforms for alleged hate speech, recently lost an appeal to have the Romanian court relax travel restrictions preventing him from leaving the Eastern European country.
The former professional kickboxer and dual British-American citizen was arrested in Bucharest in December 2022, along with his brother Tristan and two Romanian women.
All have denied the allegations against them.
