Andrew Tate ‘categorically denies’ claims made by four British women
Andrew Tate has “categorically denied” allegations of sexual assault by four British women who are suing him for alleged physical assault.
Last Wednesday, it emerged that a fourth British woman had accused the social media influencer of strangling her until she lost consciousness before raping her when she was a 20-year-old university student.
The former kickboxer was handed the legal papers by lawyers who personally represented the four alleged victims at his address in Bucharest, Romania, where he is currently under house arrest with his brother Tristan on suspicion of organized crime and human trafficking, which he denies. .
It comes less than 24 hours after Romanian prosecutors also announced that the misogynistic influencer, his brother and two other female Romanian suspects, Luana Radu and Georgiana Naghel, are now under investigation for more serious human trafficking charges.
In a strongly worded statement after McCue’s lawyers presented Jury & Partners with the legal documents, the Tate team vehemently denied the allegations made by the four women and dismissed the alleged victims as “opportunistic.”

A Tate spokesperson said: ‘Andrew Tate categorically denies the veracity of the allegations made by the UK’s anonymous women’s lawyers.
“Given the collective approach of the four women and the channels of communication chosen, the opportunistic nature of this endeavor becomes apparent, as justice is sought in the courts, not the press.
“Despite these alleged events taking place in 2014, no legal action has been taken to cover the alleged damages and no evidence of such damages has been presented until after Andrew became an international public figure.”
The fourth woman, now aged 30, to accuse Tate of sexual assault has joined three other British women in their late 20s and early 30s who are filing civil damages claims against Tate.
They all say they were victims of sexual assault at the hands of Tate between 2013 and 2016 when he lived in the UK. The three women have filed a civil claim through a crowdfunding page to raise money for the cause.
Two of them were webcam models in his internet sex business, while the other had a personal relationship with him.

The last woman to come forward told BBC Newsnight she had consensual sex with Tate after a night out in his home town of Luton in 2014. But she said this turned violent when he strangled her, and when she awoke he was still kept having sex with her, which she didn’t consent to.
The woman said this was her second meeting with Tate. A few months earlier, they had consensual sex.
She said that while they had sex on their second meeting, Tate put his hand on her throat and “strangled me” until she passed out – and that when she came to “it was a little confusing at first,” and he was “still having sex with me’.
The woman also said she was subjected to violent threats from Tate, including one to kill her, adding: “He kept saying ‘I own you, you’re mine'”.
“He was pretty aggressive all night and said horrible things.”

A Tate spokesperson stressed that all sexual acts he was involved in were consensual – and that he does not condone violence against women.
The woman did not file a police report at the time, saying she only realized she had been sexually assaulted six years later when she described what happened to her friends.
The lawyer for the original three women, Matt Jury, said in April when their claim was first announced: ‘Their allegations include rape, sexual and physical assaults, including holding guns to women’s heads, strangulations, including with belts , accusations of the most horrible behavior. towards women.’
In a heated interview with BBC News on Thursday, Tate insisted he will be cleared of organized crime and human trafficking charges.
The 36-year-old British-American citizen said he is “absolutely and utterly sure” he is innocent and instead said he is a “force for good in the world” and a “positive influence.”
In the interview at his home in Romania, he said: ‘We have a criminal investigation underway, I am absolutely and utterly sure that I will be found innocent.
“I know the case better than you, I know it inside out and you don’t, I’ve seen all the criminal files and the evidence against me and you don’t, I know the truth of what happened and you don’t.
“And I tell you absolutely and completely, I have never hurt anyone, that the case filed against me is completely and completely fabricated and I will never be found guilty of anything.”
A number of campaign groups have said Tate’s views make him a danger to young men and boys who see his content online, while the National Education Union (NEU) annual conference heard that students are developing misogynistic views because of him.
Schools have reported male students sexually harassing their female classmates in person and online, including by requiring them to send sexually explicit images and videos.

When told about this, he replied, “That’s very disturbing and the reason it’s very disturbing is because I know that’s not true, I’m a really good person.” I believe that my impact on the world is positive.’
Tate, who has lived in Romania since 2017, has been banned from several social media platforms for violating their policies, including hate speech stemming from his misogynistic and derogatory views on women.
Under Romanian law, prosecutors have filed charges against Tate, his brother and the two female suspects, but the case is under investigation and has not yet come to trial. Prosecutors are expected to take them to court later in June.
The four were in police custody from December 29 to March 31, when a court in Bucharest placed them under house arrest.
According to Romanian law, trafficking in adults carries a prison sentence of up to 10 years.
