Andrew Garfield is accused of ‘yelling’ at onlookers while filming new movie

Andrew Garfield is accused of ‘yelling’ at spectators and labeling them ‘disrespectful’ for distracting him after peering out the window to see him filming new movie in London

Andrew Garfield has been dogged by claims that he went on a furious rant against a group of onlookers who watched him film his new movie.

The English-American actor, 39, is currently shooting a rom-com with actress Florence Pugh called We Live In Time in southwest London.

Andrew was spotted shooting a scene outside a row of flats, when residents noticed what was happening outside and came to check the window.

The onlookers have claimed that Andrew “gestured them to open the window” before yelling at them for “distracting” him while he was working.

Writing on gossip site Deux Moi, a source said, “Andew Garfield and Florence Pugh are currently filming a new movie in London.

On Monday, AG submitted a scene just outside his flat (south London). My friend and roommates looked through their second story and AG saw them looking.

“Then AG stopped the scene, motioned for them to open the window, and started yelling at them, saying how disrespectful it was for them to distract him by looking out their own living room window?”

There was also a video with no audio attached to the post, showing Andrew approaching the flat window mentioned in the post.

MailOnline has reached out to representatives for comment.

The same day [Monday April 3] Andrew was spotted by the Deux Moi source, he was pictured on set in London with Florence, 27.

In the photos, the couple could be seen sipping coffee before going to a small farmers market where they picked out some fruits and vegetables.

The film’s plot is closely guarded, but has been described as a “funny, deeply moving, and compelling love story.”

Last month, it was reported that Florence and Andrew would star in a new romantic movie together.

Florence recently confirmed on The Jimmy Fallon Show, “We’re making a movie together…don’t worry, that’s not a lie. We’re making a movie together.

“I met him in rehearsals the day before and we got along right away and I got the p*ss out of him and he loved it and he got the p*ss out of me and I loved it. It was amazing!’

John Crowley will direct the film from a script by Nick Payne, according to Deadline.

Leah Clarke, Adam Ackland and Guy Heeley produce with Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch serving as executive producer.

We Live In Time will be the latest project in Florence’s busy schedule, as she’s already starring in A Good Person, Oppenheimer, and Dune: Part Two in 2023.

The star recently explained how she embraces acting projects that present her with a challenge.

She said, “It’s no secret that I can only choose very intense roles. This isn’t the first time I’ve been reduced to tears in almost every scene I’ve been in.

‘I like to detect the ugliness in people. I like being raw. I love getting a script where it challenges myself and I never chose a role unless I was afraid of it.”
