Andrew Garfield admits to Amelia Dimoldenberg they could’ve gone on a real date if it weren’t for the cameras in VERY flirty Chicken Shop Date

Andrew Garfield admitted to Amelia Dimoldenberg that he believes they could have had a real date, but their Chicken Shop Date ruined their chance.

Fans went into frenzy when the presenter, 30, announced the actor, 41, would be her next racy date after sparking romance rumors with their ‘off the charts’ chemistry at the Golden Globes.

The pair finally got to work on Friday for an episode of her YouTube series, where sparks flew just as strongly as their previous interactions.

They previously went viral last year after several clips of them flirting while Amelia interviewed Andrew on the red carpet left fans begging for them on a date.

And Andrew admitted during their chat that he would have taken Amelia on a real date, but then crushed fans’ hopes when he added that the cameras had now ‘ruined’ the likelihood of this happening.

Amelia admitted, “Well, I don’t know,” causing Andrew to go further and admit, “Okay, but then take all the practicalities and logic out of it. I actually think we might have done that. Without all this. But it’s this…’

Amelia shot back, “Because you’re afraid of it,” as Andrew tried to defend, “I’m a very private person in my private life.”

The pair stared at each other until both suddenly burst out laughing, with Amelia then declaring: “I’m actually more private than you are.”

A mocking Andrew asked, “Tell me. Go ahead, I’ll wait,” while Amelia replied, “Have you ever seen me with anyone? No.’

But a grinning Andrew shot back: “That doesn’t mean you’re more private, it just means you’re not with anyone,” insulting Amelia.

Fans couldn’t stop cheering after seeing the couple’s flirty chat and rushed to social media to beg for the pair to date in real life.

Amelia announced the exciting news last week that her highly anticipated Chicken Shop Date with Andrew was coming up, alongside a cheeky photo of the Oscar-nominated star staring at her as she bit into a chicken nugget.

She captioned the teasing shot: “The one you’ve been waiting for… My date with Andrew Garfield is this Friday :).”

Fans have been clamoring for collaboration since the viral Golden Globes interview, in which the journalist, known for fronting the hit YouTube series, told the actor, “We need to stop meeting like this.”

Andrew, whose split from his girlfriend was recently revealed, replied: “I just want to see you”… before Amelia interrupted: “What?”

Andrew burst out laughing and said, “I didn’t finish my sentence! I just want to see you in situations like this.”

Amelia cheekily said she would like to see him in other situations when she invited him to her birthday party on January 30.

Andrew inquired about Amelia’s zodiac sign, to which she said she’s an Aquarius, and the actor replied, “If you have a sun sign that’s the same as someone else’s moon sign, that’s okay.”
