Andre Onana had Manchester United fans on the edge of their seats with a sublime display of skill to evade Galatasaray striker Hakim Ziyech.

The eccentric stopper endured a disappointing night in Istanbul, making two errors that led to goals in the 3-3 Champions League draw against Erik ten Hag’s side.

But towards the end of the first half, with the score 2-1 in United’s favour, Onana showed his greatest talents on the ball.

The away team was in danger of being hit on the counter after a corner before Onana received the ball in the center circle, 30 meters from his goal.

As Ziyech pressed, the Cameroonian feinted to his left before expertly turning away from the winger and firing a pass out wide to restart the attack.

The Cameroonian was at fault for both of Hakim Ziyech’s goals, with the second-half strike proving the most costly after United restored their two-goal lead

Unfortunately for the Premier League side, Ziyech and Galatasaray had the last laugh on Wednesday evening after Onana’s costly mistakes.

After first-half goals from Alejandro Garnacho, Bruno Fernandes and the Moroccan, United restored their two-goal lead when Scott McTominay struck in the 55th minute.

But Onana spilled Ziyech’s free-kick minutes later before Muhammed Kerem Akturkoglu completed the comeback with a devastating corner finish.

The draw left United bottom of Group A ahead of the final matchday against Bayern Munich at Old Trafford next month.
