The chaos unfolded around 2 a.m. Friday at Orangewood and State College Blvd.

The vehicle then crashes into several people before other onlookers run towards it.
But the driver continues, flattening several people who are dragged under the vehicle.
The car continues to turn as the angry crowd tries to prevent it from moving, with several people jumping up and down on the car’s windshield.
“There’s another man under there!” Someone screams as the crowd continues to kick and bash the vehicle.
The two people hospitalized were in “stable condition” Friday morning and no arrests had been made, police said.
The unruly scenes are the latest example of the lawlessness on display at street takeovers, where motorists meet to show off their vehicles by performing dangerous stunts.

California Governor Gavin Newsom recently unveiled measures to tackle the sideshows.
The bipartisan legislation increases penalties and accountability and increases law enforcement’s ability to combat the events, Newsom said.
“Sideshows are reckless, criminal activities that endanger our communities. We have seen too many people killed or injured in these events,” he added.
‘We are sending a clear message to anyone considering taking part in or attending a sideshow: stricter penalties apply, including the possible loss of your vehicle.’
