An office move halves Faber's profits
The publisher of literary greats such as WH Auden and James Joyce saw its profits halve last year.
Faber earned £1.2m in the year ending March 2023, up from £2.4m previously.

But chief executive Mary Cannam said it had still been an 'outstanding' year as turnover reached £25.4m – although this was down from the record £28m previously.
Faber's bestselling titles this year include the Pulitzer Prize-winning Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver and the Booker-shortlisted Small Things Like These by Claire Keegan.
The company has also published works by Nobel Prize-winning author Kazuo Ishiguro.
Faber was founded in 1929. Poet TS Eliot was an early editor and director with the group.
The company has given all staff inflation-linked pay rises to help deal with the cost of living crisis.
