An iconic ’90s pop band is set to release their first new music in five years.
Take That are planning to make their chart comeback with their first original song since 2017, as they work on the follow-up album to the record Wonderland.
And Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald have already filmed their new music video for the song, which they expect to be released sometime this week.
Speak with The sun, Gary said of the new music: ‘Just four days ago we were shooting a video for our new single which is being played this week. It will one day be on Radio 2, we are so excited about it.
“Obviously it’s been a number of years since we had any new music. I think 2017 was our last official new music and I’m so glad you can hear it.”

On what fans could expect from the song, he added: “It sounds very different and emotional and fitting for where we are in our lives right now. We are very proud.’
The trio joined EMI Music Publishing earlier this year, with their upcoming album their first full-length collection since signing their new deal.
Howard previously hinted that the group was taking their music in a “new direction,” adding that their new LP “sounds absolutely brilliant.”
While Gary first teased big plans for the band in 2021, he told The Sun: ‘I’m desperate to get back into the band if I’m honest. For us, 2023 will be a big year for Take That. It’s Mark, Howard and I for the next few years.”
The big news comes after Take That confirmed they are ‘back for good’ following their highly anticipated performance at King Charles III’s coronation concert at Windsor Castle.
Less than 24 hours after leaving the stage, the group announced their big comeback.
They shared a video of themselves during the show on their Instagram and wrote: ‘It was incredible performing live together for the first time in four years and there is so much more to come. We’re back for good.’
It comes after Robbie Williams reunited on stage with his former Take That bandmate Mark Owen for the first time in 12 years last month.

During a performance at Sandringham House in Norfolk, the 49-year-old singer surprised 20,000 fans by bringing 49-year-old Mark on stage.
The duo performed their 2008 hit single Greatest Day in the grounds of King Charles’ royal residence, which was converted into a huge eco-friendly concert venue for the evening.
Fans were thrilled to see Robbie and Mark share the stage for the first time in more than a decade as they wrapped their arms around each other during the performance.

Robbie turned heads in a sleeveless top with gold sequins which he teamed with silver metallic trousers and a white scarf.
Meanwhile, Mark turned heads in bright red trousers into which he tucked a black silk shirt.
The singers appeared in good spirits during the performance, which is the final stop of Robbie’s world XXV tour, which marked 25 years since he left Take That to go solo.
The duo in the iconic band were joined by Gary Barlow, 52, and Howard Donald, 55, and Jason Orange, who shockingly left the group in 2014.
After Robbie left the group in 1995, Gary, Mary and Howard continued as a successful trio.
