Amy Jackson was among the first as the 78th annual Cannes Film Festival entered its second day with a screening of new foreign film Monster.
The model and actress appeared to be without boyfriend Ed Westwick as she walked the red carpet on Wednesday night, but his absence did nothing to dim her spotlight.
Greeting photographers, Jackson, 31, turned heads in a flowy black prom dress with a hip-length slash that barely protected her modesty, exposing her legs completely.
She paired the dress with a pair of strappy heels, while her hair was pulled neatly into a conventional bun.
Other new arrivals on the red carpet included British actress Gemma Chan and American star Viola Davis, while Japanese filmmaker Hirokazu Kore-eda celebrated the launch of his latest work.

Jackson and Westwick have made plenty of public appearances in recent weeks, but Wednesday night seemed to break that particular trend.
Rumors about the couple started circulating in February, but they reportedly started seeing each other romantically in December 2021.
They met last December at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, where they chatted during the closing ceremony during a screening.
In February, a source told The Sun on Sunday: “Ed and Amy are a really good match. It clicked immediately.
Jackson starred in a series of Indian films, mainly in the Tamil, Hindi and Telugu languages - having auditioned for a film in London by a twist of fate.

She was previously in a relationship with hotelier George Panayiotou, with the pair getting engaged in January 2019 and welcoming a son in September.
They broke up in 2021, before her relationship with Westwick began later that year.
Meanwhile, the actor previously dated South African model and influencer Tamara Francesconi for two years before also splitting in 2021.
