Amy Childs will reveal her “newborn son hospitalized shortly after birth” on upcoming TV show The Twin Life, a new report has found.

The former TOWIE star, 32, welcomed daughter Amelia Mae and son Billy River with her fiancé Billy Delbosq after a “long and exhausting labour” last month.

The new ITVBe show, which airs on Tuesday 23 May, promises a behind-the-scenes look at Amy’s life as she becomes a mother to four children under the age of five.

According to The sun baby Billy was hospitalized with fluid on his lungs, with the traumatic events to be seen in the series.

Amy previously explained that she was booked in for an emergency c-section with doctors keeping a close eye on her, despite originally planning a natural birth.

She shared an Instagram update ahead of The Twin Life saying, “I’m really excited to take viewers on this crazy journey with twins as I become a mother of four under five!

“Bill and I eagerly look forward to sharing every moment from the busy nesting phase, birth via emergency c-section, to the raw reality of the days following the twins’ arrival, and finally a very exciting proposal!

“We’re thrilled to have the cameras along for the ride to capture all those special moments.”

Amy welcomed her twins via C-section earlier this month, but friends later admitted she was devastated by the procedure.

A source told The sun: ‘Amy has welcomed twin babies of a boy and a girl. She is overjoyed, but exhausted after a long labour.

“Amy and Billy are delighted with their newcomers.”

After giving birth, Amy spoke openly about how doctors kept a close eye on her with weekly checkups after her waters broke early during her previous pregnancies with daughter Polly and also son Ritchie.

Write for her OK! magazine column, the star explained that the birth could be natural or cesarean, despite the latter being booked.

Amy described her plan as “open-ended,” sharing, “As I’ve said from day one — if I can go, of course, then I will.” My phrase of the year is “anything can happen”.’

“While the twins aren’t coming any time soon, the doctors are concerned because my waters have gone along with my previous pregnancies, so it could happen any minute,” she continued.

A caesarean section is the surgical procedure in which the babies are delivered through an incision in Amy’s abdomen, rather than through a vaginal delivery. The procedure is often performed when a natural birth would put the mother at risk.

Amy added that it looks good on previous scans and shared that she can be left up to 38 weeks before delivery as the twins are not identical.
