The woman in Latrell Mitchell’s white powder photo has made new claims about what happened the night the NRL star’s photo was taken from a Dubbo hotel room.
This comes after the South Sydney fullback was issued a notice of breach on Thursday afternoon, alleging a breach of the NRL Code of Conduct, following an investigation by the NRL Integrity Unit this week.
“The details of the infringement notice are that Mitchell appears in footage made public on August 12, 2024, in which he is seen acting in a manner that has brought the game into disrepute,” the statement said.
Mitchell has five working days to respond to the infringement notice.
In connection with the now infamous photo of Mitchell, Amy Brown – the woman from the hotel room – posted a status update on Facebook earlier this week, when she identified herself as the other person in the photo.
Brown also admitted that she ‘likes to have a little fun and make bags’ [drugs] if I go out…it’s no shame.’
Brown has since been accused by Dubbo residents of leaking a photo of Mitchell to the media. On Thursday, she gave her version of events but also pleaded her innocence.
The reason I did it [confirm her identity in the image] “That’s because everyone is accusing me of doing something wrong,” Brown replied to another Facebook user.

Brown posted a response on Facebook saying she is “still being criticized” on social media, before revealing who she believes sent the photo
My so-called friend posted a picture of me, but it ended up in the wrong hands.
‘I have every right to write this status but I’m still being criticized… all I did was go to a motel where my girlfriend was staying because she called me after a night out, I stayed for no more than an hour and then left.
“You’re all blaming the wrong person here.”
Brown then revealed who she believes sent the photo of Mitchell on Snapchat, adding that her personal intention is to “clear my name.”
She concluded with the text: ‘I know what I have and have not done.’
After the Rabbitohs took the photo, which shows Mitchell hunched over white powder on a table with his left hand in front of his face, they reported the photo to the NRL Integrity Unit.
Daily Mail Australia does not claim the white substance is an illegal drug.
The NRL questioned Mitchell by phone about the image on Tuesday as he remains sidelined with a foot injury which could see him miss the rest of the season.

Meanwhile, Brown defended herself against allegations that she leaked the image via Apple’s AirDrop feature, which allows users to send items to other devices. On Wednesday, she made a threat in a Facebook conversation with another woman.
The woman who was the victim of the threat – Kerri Cochrane, the mother of Cronulla Sharks star Braydon Trindall – is also accused of distributing the image.
She also denied any involvement.
“I’m not going to sit back and lie about anything,” Brown wrote on Facebook.
I was shown [the photo] at the football on sunday. Didn’t even know that photo existed until then. I wouldn’t even know how to make an airdrop.
“But I do know one thing: the next time I see you, I’m fucking dropping you.”
Mitchell has kept a low profile since the photo circulated online, but his adviser Matt Rose did reveal the footballer’s mental state.
“Latrell is doing well,” he said on Tuesday. “Yeah, I mean, at the moment he’s not allowed to comment under NRL rules.”
