Amira Moghnieh family says she had no worries before being allegedly murdered by ex-hustband
A mother of three who was allegedly killed by her ex-husband didn’t notice any warning signs and didn’t see it coming, shattered family members said.
Amira Moghnieh, 30, was allegedly killed by her estranged husband Ahmad Hodroj, 39, after he dropped off their children at his sister’s home.
Ms Moghnieh’s body was discovered just before 6pm on Wednesday at a home in Bexley, south Sydney. Hodroj was arrested on the spot and charged with murder.
Pictures and videos have surfaced of the happy and cheerful young mother living her best life before her death.
Her cousin Karim told Daily Mail Australia on Saturday that Ms Moghnieh had spoken to her sister hours earlier and there was nothing wrong.
“Her sister spoke to her the morning before the incident,” Karim said.

The body of Ms Moghnieh (pictured singing in the car before her death) was discovered just before 6pm last Wednesday at a home in Bexley, south Sydney.
“They laughed and had fun and everything was normal.
She wasn’t stressed or worried.
“She never saw this coming.”
He shared some of Amira’s latest photos and videos with Daily Mail Australia, showing her smiling and laughing with her family.
Two recent videos show her singing in her car while beaming from ear to ear in another as she plays on the swings with her kids in a park.
In other recent photos, she can be seen feeding kangaroos, taking walks and posing for selfies with friends.
Ms Moghnieh had only just celebrated being granted citizenship and an Australian passport in the days before she was reportedly killed and she already had plans to take her children to her hometown in Lebanon to see relatives.

Daily Mail Australia understands that Hodroj and Ms Moghnieh had been separated for a year when she arrived at his house last Wednesday evening to collect her young children.
Her cousin Fadi said Hodroj had taken their three young children, aged between two and six, to his sister’s house next door before Ms Moghnieh’s arrival.
It is clear that he wanted to talk to Ms. Moghnieh about their divorce settlement, which was due to be finalized later this month.
“He has three houses and she would get part of his property,” said Fadi.
Ms. Moghnieh’s death has sent a wave of grief to the family.
“From the greed of this world, my sister is gone, gone,” her sister said.
“The mother of a sweet smile is gone, the sweetheart of my heart is gone.”
“May your soul rest in heaven, my dear,” wrote another.
“You will always be remembered in our hearts forever.”

Her estranged husband, Ahmad Hodroj, 39, was arrested at the scene on Wednesday and charged with murder
Daily Mail Australia understands that Hodroj is employed by a company that works for Qantas. He is not an employee of Qantas and has not been for several years.
A former colleague said he was “very shocked” by the news.
“His wife used to bring him lunch to work. Sometimes he shared it. She was a good cook,’ he said.
“His behavior has changed significantly since his divorce.”

Mrs. Moghnieh had worked for the NDIS in Bankstown.
Hodroj appeared before Sutherland local court on Thursday, where he did not seek bail. He must appear in court again in August.
The investigation into her death continues.
