Amir Khan admits wife Faryal Makhdoom is urging him to ‘get back to the gym’ as he confirms they are back together amid claims he ‘sexted another woman’
Amir Khan has confirmed he is back together with his wife Faryal Makhdoom after allegedly ‘sexting up another woman’.
The 36-year-old boxer admitted that his other half has urged him to hit the gym since retiring from the ring, as he revealed that despite claims, their relationship is still going strong.
Appearing on This Morning with Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, Amir admitted: ‘I’m not a spring chicken. I haven’t trained in two years.
“My wife started taunting me by saying she had to go to the gym, saying you were starting to get a daddy’s body.
“I used to see a gym and go in, now I see a gym and walk past it.”

Drama: Amir and his wife Faryal Makhdoom have had a tumultuous relationship in recent months, amid claims the boxer ‘sexted another woman’
The pair hit a rocky point in their relationship last month when a former BBC presenter accused the former sportsman of making sexual advances towards her after they appeared at an event together.
Suzi Mann, who has presented BBC Asian Network’s Official Asian Music Chart Show, claims she received messages from the star after they first met in 2016 when she hosted a concert in Manchester.
She said that after their meeting, he repeatedly messaged her on WhatsApp in which he “flirted” with her and “made sexual advances”, which later escalated when he started calling and leaving her voicemails.
The single mother said she did not feel “comfortable” with his messages and that she “remained professional” by choosing not to “entertain” his behavior.
The allegations came following news that Amir and his wife Faryal Makhdoom had split over a sexting scandal after the sportsman allegedly begged a model to send him revealing photos.
However, the couple, who have been married for ten years and share three children, appear to have reconciled as the star spoke about their relationship.

‘You eat four or five meals throughout the day, sometimes six small meals. Once you take away the training, your body is so used to eating so often.
“Then you’re not burning those calories, you’re still eating and just adding and before you know it, boom.”
Chris joked that the star is still in “good shape,” to which the boxer replied, “WWell, the woman doesn’t think so.’
Speaking about the end of his career on the ITV daytime show, he said: ‘God has been kind. You have to stay modest. I have my feet on the ground. Boxing is over, I can concentrate more on my charity activities. I’m still working on it.’
The star also opened up about filming his reality BBC Three series At Home With The Khans and said he was worried.
“I was a little nervous because they want to stay with you 24/7 and literally live with you and watch you wake up. In one scene, me and my wife were in bed and I thought this isn’t right. We had to pull a pillow between us.’
