A shocking video has emerged showing a child being told to steal a package from a homeowner’s door and then celebrating after taking it, shouting, “I got it!” I understood.’
The footage was captured Monday by a Ring doorbell camera in Miami. Although the child has not yet been identified, police believe he may be as young as five years old.
The package contained clothing that the victim claimed was worth $40.
Police are now looking for the woman who was filmed with the child.

The theft took place in Miami’s Silver Bluff neighborhood and the child can be heard screaming “I got it, I got it” as he sprints away from the porch
According to Captain Freddy Cruz of the Miami Police Department, the theft occurred in the Silver Bluff neighborhood of Miami.
“We don’t know if the child even knew what he or she was doing,” he said an Instagram video posted on February 1.
Cruz also indicated that Miami police do not know if the adult is a parent or guardian.
Officers are now asking for the public’s help in identifying the adult in the Ring doorbell camera.
“This individual will be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possibly other charges,” Cruz said.
The victim asked Room 10 to be identified as Amelia, said the adult in the video “should really be ashamed” of her actions.

This porch pirate theft was not the first to occur in Florida.
A 32-year-old woman was arrested in December after surveillance footage caught her stealing Amazon packages from a porch in a winter paradise.
She was booked into the Polk County Sherriff’s Office on charges of grand larceny, petit larceny and two counts of burglary of a habitation.
