Americans split over whether Biden should acknowledge daughter Hunter had with stripper: poll

American voters are divided on whether President Joe Biden should publicly acknowledge his granddaughter, bringing his son Hunter’s four-year-old love child into the fold of America’s First Family, a poll has found.

Conservatives, parents, Republicans and religious Americans think the president should make the Navy go public Joan Roberts, the granddaughter he and his wayward son never met.

But the American public is divided on the sensitive issue. Many others, including Democrats, liberals and those without children, are calling it a “private family matter” for the Bidens to sort out for themselves.

The TIPP survey of nearly 1,500 Americans was conducted after Hunter appeared in court this month in Independence County, Arkansas, over how much child support the first son should pay.

A Tipp poll of 1,480 US adults found Americans were divided over whether the president should go public about his seventh granddaughter, Marine Joan Roberts

Hunter, 53, wants to cut his monthly payments of $20,000 to Navy Joan’s mother Lunden Roberts, 32. He claims that he is now poorer than when the deal was made and that he can no longer pay such hefty sums.

Both parents will testify in June ahead of a trial in July to reach a new settlement.

For some Americans, now is the right time for President Biden to acknowledge the existence of the biological granddaughter he has never met and never mentions, despite his flattery about his other grandchildren.

The survey found that half of Americans think this is a “family matter,” while 40 percent think the president should be candid about Alabama’s love child. Another 10 percent say they are not sure.

But the attitude is partial. Nearly two-thirds of conservatives believe Biden should recognize the child’s bloodline. So do half of the country’s Protestants, as well as those who are parents themselves.

Conversely, liberals say by wide margins it’s a family issue for the Bidens. Democrats, the non-religious, and those without children were more likely to say it’s a private matter.

President Biden often talks admiringly about his “six grandchildren” and takes them to events and speeches — but critics say he says nothing about his seventh grandchild, Navy Joan.

The angelic, blonde-haired girl was born in August 2018, but remained a secret until Roberts sued Hunter for child support in her native Arkansas 10 months later.

She is the fourth of Hunter’s five children, but neither he nor his parents Joe and Jill Biden have ever met the child or publicly acknowledged her existence.

She gets none of the perks, nor the 24-hour Secret Service protection, enjoyed by the rest of the Biden brood.

The long-running paternity case between the president’s son and Roberts appeared to be settled in 2019 when a DNA test showed that Hunter was Navy Joan’s father and agreed to a reported $2.5 million settlement.

But the recovering drug addict reopened the case in September by claiming he had undergone “a substantial material change” in his income and was unable to pay the payments.

Roberts refused to budge and upped the ante by petitioning the court to officially rename her daughter Navy Joan Biden to “profit from carrying the Biden family name.”

Hunter called that move “political warfare.”

Roberts also served the First Son with a discovery request that covered everything from his shady business dealings in Ukraine and China to the names of the mysterious art lovers who paid huge sums for his amateur abstract paintings.

After Hunter passed multiple deadlines to turn over those documents, Judge Holly Meyer ordered him to appear in person in Independence County Circuit Court for the May 1 contempt hearing.

During the hearing, Roberts accused the Biden scion of hiding assets and posing as a “destitute” performer in the latest lawsuit. She says he has enough money to pay child support.

The feisty single mom, who studied crime scene investigation at George Washington University, noted that he can afford to pay a team of super-lawyers up to $855 an hour each for his various lawsuits and congressional investigations.

Roberts has brought in Garrett Ziegler — a former Trump administration aide and old nemesis of Hunter who produced a 644-page analysis of the contents of his infamous abandoned laptop — as an expert witness.

In his own papers, Hunter has argued against Navy Joan becoming a Biden, insisting that he wants a “peaceful existence” for her, free from the political scrutiny associated with his family dynasty.

Hunter fathered a son he named Beau after his late brother with his new wife Melissa Cohen just 17 months after Navy was born.

It was initially reported that Hunter met Roberts while she was working as a stripper at a DC club that Hunter frequented.

But texts retrieved from his abandoned laptop proved she was, in fact, on the payroll at Rosemont Seneca, Hunter’s Washington, D.C. investment company.

Hunter never saw Navy Joan and couldn’t get her out of a photo rig, according to court documents.

She and Hunter conceived Navy Joan around December 2017 while he was still in a relationship with his brother Beau’s widow, Hallie.

Hunter claimed in his 2021 memoir, Beautiful Things, that in the aftermath of his divorce from Kathleen Buhle in 2017, he had such a “rampage” that he couldn’t remember the names of the women he slept with.

“That’s why I later sued the Arkansas woman who had a baby in 2018 claiming it was mine — I couldn’t remember our meeting. I had so little connection with anyone,” he wrote.
