American woman who married an Italian reveals the very surprising reason why her health is so much BETTER in Europe than in the US

An American woman who married an Italian man has revealed the surprising reason why she feels better physically in Italy.

Amber Cimiotti from Los Angeles has been visiting the Italian town of Ospedaletti for about 11 years.

The mother of two recently claimed on Instagram that higher levels of magnesium in European water and food were behind her feelings of rejuvenation.

And dozens of other social media users flooded the comments to reveal they too had similar experiences.

In the clip, which has been liked more than 64,000 times, Amber leaned back on a lounge chair as she spoke to the camera.

She began, “I went down the magnesium rabbit hole yesterday and I did it because I always feel great in Italy.

‘I’m always looking to find out why I feel so good – not just because of the culture and the Aperol Spritz, but also because I feel good physically.

“I’m talking heart rate, sleep scores, energy, anxiety, like the best scores of the year always are when I’m in Italy, I’m not kidding.”

Amber continued, “I started with water because Italian water is full of minerals and things that replenish your body.

“I mean, do you ever think about how Americans have to walk around with bottles of water or drink constantly while Italians never do that? They drink much less water because their water actually replenishes their bodies.

“But also our soil is so depleted and theirs is not yet that depleted, so their food is mineral-rich.”

The social media star, who has more than 58,800 followers, then added a caveat: “I don’t know anything, I’m just a girl trying to feel good.

“But yesterday I was reading about magnesium all day and they said long Covid-19 could be magnesium deficiency, and a lot of postpartum problems could be magnesium deficiency.

‘Covid has depleted magnesium in many people, having children and breastfeeding depletes it in many people – because our soil and water are not replenishing it, 70 percent of Americans are deficient in magnesium.

“Things like POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) and chronic fatigue syndrome and many other autoimmune diseases can also result from magnesium deficiency.”

She concluded: ‘Vitamin D needs magnesium, so if you’re taking vitamin D but your magnesium is low, that can also be a problem because vitamin D is going to use up all your magnesium.

“Heart rate, atrial fibrillation — all these things with your heart rate can be directly attributed to magnesium deficiency.”

Amber uploaded the clip alongside a caption that read, “I don’t know anything, but it’s (definitely) worth looking into if (you’re) questioning any of that stuff.”

One wrote: ‘I only lived there for two years and everything you say is spot on. Italy is the best in every way. We will do our best to come live there again!’

Another added: ‘Those were exactly my thoughts when we were on holiday in Spain! We drink less water and that’s because their water actually hydrated YOU!

“Tons and tons of minerals and salts that we need.”

And a third simply said: ‘This. Omg yes.”
